8वें वेतन आयोग का केंद्र सरकार व राज्य सरकार के कर्मचारी व रिटायर्ड कर्मचारी बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रहे है कहा जा रहा है कि लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले 2024 तक इसकी घोषणा संभव है। लेकिन 8th pay commission 1 जनवरी 2026 से पहले लागु नहीं होगा।आयोग या तो कर्मचारियों के लिए वर्तमान वेतन मेट्रिक्स के समान नियमों के अनुसार एक नए वेतन मैट्रिक्स की सलाह देगा।

8वें वेतन आयोग की तारीख 2024 में स्थापित होने की उम्मीद है और चुनाव के कारण इस वर्ष इसकी घोषणा की जाएगी। हालाँकि तिथि कार्यालय ने यह घोषणा नहीं की है कि वे महामारी युग और भारत के विकास के अन्य कारणों के कारण तिथि को 1 से 2 वर्ष तक बढ़ा सकते हैं।
नया वेतन आयोग बनाने में लगभग एक दशक का समय लग सकता है। बिना देर किये सरकार के अन्य क्षेत्र नये विकसित भारत और भारत के विकास की नीतियों के अनुरूप नये नियम और नया वेतन आयोग बनाने का प्रयास करेंगे।
8वां वेतन आयोग वेतन मैट्रिक्स (8th Pay Commission Pay Matrix)
8वां वेतन आयोग मैट्रिक्स प्रस्ताव के बाद संभवत: 2026 की एक जनवरी को अस्तित्व में आ जाएगा। हालाँकि इसकी अवधि और COVID-19 महामारी वर्षों के कारण इसे 1 से 2 साल तक बढ़ाया जा सकता है। आठवां वेतन आयोग सरकारी कर्मचारियों के जीवन में बुनियादी बदलाव लाएगा।
8th Pay Commission द्वारा बनाई गई है कि सभी सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए वेतनमान बदल सकते हैं और लाभार्थियों की सेवानिवृत्ति में लगभग 25% की बढ़ोतरी हो सकती है। ऐसा कहा जा रहा है कि केंद्रीय कर्मचारियों के वेतन में 20 से 30 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी हो सकती है।

8वां वेतन आयोग ड्यू डेट 2026 जनवरी महीने में लागू किया जा सकता है। हालांकि अभी तक भारत सरकार की ओर से आधिकारिक तारीख की घोषणा नहीं की गई है। संभावना है की केंद्र सरकार अगले लोकसभा चुनाव के पहले नए वेतन आयोग की तारीख बता दे। मार्च 2024 तक अनुमान है की नए वेतन आयोग का गठन कर दिया जाये।

8वें वेतन आयोग की सैलरी स्लैब सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए बड़ा बदलाव होगा । इस 8वें वेतन आयोग के बाद सैलरी करीब 10 से 20 फीसदी तक बढ़ सकती है| देश में महंगाई बढ़ती जा रही है लेकिन महंगाई के हिसाब से सरकार की सैलरी नहीं बढ़ रही है जिसके चलते सरकार कुछ नियमों और नीतियों में बदलाव करने की योजना बना सकती है |
